The City of Austin Office of Sustainability’s Bright Green Future Grant applications are open now through Oct. 26, 2020. This is a grant opportunity for schools wishing to implement sustainability-oriented programming.
Per Office of Sustainability staff: “This year’s grant is going to be a little bit different because of COVID. Instead of asking for submissions based on original project ideas, we are offering a “menu” of curriculum options to choose from offered through local nonprofits. This is because schools are very delayed in completing last year’s projects and there are so many challenges with virtual and in-person schooling this year. We hope to return the program to its original format next year.
